Haib Cu Project

Location

The Haib Copper Project sits in southern Namibia, close to the border with South Africa. The deposit lies just 2 km north of the Orange River, which forms the international boundary in this region. A major national highway connecting South Africa to Windhoek passes approximately 15 km west of the project, providing straightforward road access.

The nearest town, Noordoewer, is about 25 km southwest and supports the surrounding farming community. It also hosts the area’s customs and immigration facilities, serving as a key crossing point between Namibia and South Africa.

Rail access is available at Grunau, roughly 120 km to the north along the main highway. From there, material can be transported to Namibia’s ports at Lüderitz or Walvis Bay, or routed into South Africa via Ariamsvlei, around 180 km east of Haib. This network provides Haib with clear logistical pathways for future development and export.
