Developing Namibia's next major copper mine

Koryx Copper S.A. is a Canadian developer advancing its 100% owned, PEA-stage Haib Copper Project in Namibia, alongside a growing exploration portfolio in Zambia.

The Haib deposit, in southern Namibia, is a large copper–molybdenum porphyry system with a long history of exploration and development. Since the 1970s, operators including Falconbridge (1964), Rio Tinto (1975), and Teck (2014) have completed 70,000+ metres of drilling, along with metallurgical tests, geophysics, geological mapping, various mine modelling and multiple technical studies. Teck remains a strategic shareholder.

Haib’s mineralization is dominated by chalcopyrite with minor bornite and chalcocite, and – due to Namibia’s arid climate – very little secondary copper at surface. Despite its ancient age and later deformation, the deposit still shows the classic hallmarks of major porphyry systems, which are the main source of global copper supply.
